Tangible Design

“ontology”

For my ART 235: Beginning Serigraphy final, I created a screen print titled Ontology, which explores making as a reflection of identity and presence. Through this project, I examine the relationship between creation and self, emphasizing how physical output can serve as an extension of personal experience. I developed the composition in Photoshop and translated it into print using photo emulsion and screen filler techniques, which enabled controlled layering and intentional color application. This piece exemplifies my artistic values, highlighting my commitment to authenticity, process, and the belief that design can function as a direct expression of identity.

Inkjet Photography Print Series

For my Digital Photography course, I developed a series of four images focused on color accuracy and print optimization. Each photograph was carefully edited in Lightroom and Photoshop, with attention to color correction, tonal balance, and consistency across the set. The images were prepared specifically for physical output, then printed, matted to 8×10, and scanned. This project emphasized precision in digital workflow and reinforced my understanding of how color translates from camera to print.
